Artist “R3”
Hi! I’m Russ R. Robinson, or “R3.”
I am a self-taught impressionist with a unique pointillism specialty. I am based in the SF Bay Area. In addition to running this little art business, I teach children and host local paint parties.
My works are called “Colorings” because after 20 years of not lifting a brush, I rekindled my passion for creating with coloring books for mindfulness. R3 Colorings was born in 2019 with a simple goal - to add some more color to the world with a whole lot of soulful dots!
My style focuses on simple compositions created with messy, yet fluid strokes - it’s “orderly chaos.”
My collections celebrate the impermanence of nature - attempting to playfully capture its color, energy, and movement.
